The name "Sniff Deeply Slurp Loudly" was inspired by an evening spent coffee cupping. Coffee cupping "is the practice of oberserving and tasting aromas of brewed coffee." (Wikipedia) During this evening we were instructed to sniff deeply and slurp loudly. Being a rather philosophically minded gal I thought that this is great analogy to life.
We must inhale and fully receive the aromas of life (be they good, bad, lovely or ugly) while also communicating this to others and being social. It is innate to human beings to be social. Social media is a good place to connect, but we both strive and fully encourage our readers to be really social in a physical way, with others all the time!
